Recognizing the importance of high-quality legal services for those within our community who are unable to afford legal counsel, the lawyers at Norman Wohlgemuth routinely provide legal services on a pro bono basis. Ryan Ray is a member of the Criminal Justice Act Panel from both the Northern District of Oklahoma and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, from which appointments are made to represent indigent defendants in federal criminal proceedings in both courts. These appointments have included the representation of inmates on Oklahoma’s death row, federal criminal proceedings of almost all kinds, and other individuals pursuing post-conviction relief in state and federal courts. Norman Wohlgemuth attorneys also have regularly served as counsel to local community-service organizations and as board members, including the Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless, Child Abuse Network, and The University of Tulsa Board of Trustees.
