Joel Wohlgemuth has extensive litigation experience in both the civil and criminal arenas and has tried cases and argued appeals in state and federal courts across the country. Mr. Wohlgemuth has had exceptional success in a series of plaintiffs’ antitrust cases and trade secret cases and has had the lead role in a number of high profile civil and criminal cases. He defended multi-district litigation involving a catastrophic bridge collapse over the Arkansas River. In addition, Mr. Wohlgemuth was part of a team that successfully defended the merger of Conoco Inc. and Phillips Petroleum Company in federal court. 

Mr. Wohlgemuth successfully achieved dismissal of a state grand jury investigating the alleged misconduct of public officials. Mr. Wohlgemuth has acted as counsel in litigated matters for such diverse clients as the Washington Post, the Warren Foundation, Hillcrest Medical Center, the State of Texas, IBM, the City of Tulsa, the Oklahoma Attorneys Mutual Insurance Company and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Tulsa.
